The Wash Rag News is a monthly, multimedia newsletter that is tailored to your readers' ages. It offers two or three articles/items under these headings:
News You Can Use - These are current-event type articles about trends in reading and literacy for your selected age group.
Events and Celebrations - These are the bigger (think national) events that commemorate or celebrate history, culture, and reading.
Books & Recommendations - These are Podcasts and mini-reviews for no more than three books ... agan, tailored to the age of your audience.
In Every Edition - We partner with Jen Robinson of Jen Robinson's Book Page; Carol Rasco, President and CEO of RIF; and Susan Stephenson of the Book Chook to produce a roundup of literacy and reading news on our blogs. Here you'll find the links to that thrice monthly news service.

The Weekly Washrag publishes excerpts from the week's blog postings. If you want to keep up with reading ideas, book recommendations, and literacy news, but don't have the time to sift through lots of posts (or even whole posts), this is JUST what you're looking for.
