Young Reader Reaction: “I kind of liked it because some of the story was good.”

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a good book for describing the BASIC process of fishing. I wasn’t really impressed with the story line or illustrations.

Pros: This picture book offers a good description of what you need to know about going fishing.

Cons: The pictures were pretty basic and there was nothing really exciting happening in the story.

Borrow or Buy: Borrow. The book introduces basic ideas, but it isn't one that is likely to get read over and over again.
