Young Reader Reaction: This book is fun; it has good pictures and steps. I read this book several times because I liked that it teaches me how to make the project and who invented it. This is a nice book for science projects.

Adult Reader Reaction: What an interesting book to read! We learned things, too. We especially liked how the book offered hands-on activities to make inventions more relevant to kids. This IS a good book for elementary-school science projects.

Pros: Kids will like this book. "It is the best for reading and the projects you can do."

Cons: When you go to a bookseller website, it is billed for ages 4-8 or 5-8. It may be a little too much for preschoolers and Kindergarteners.

Borrow or Buy: Borrow. This is a book that is fun to explore. It is perfect for school and public libraries.
