Young Reader Reaction: This is a well-written book, full of suspense. I wanted to keep reading and never put it down. It was a funny book at times, and serious at others. The story line was a little bit young. I would recommend this book to most kids who are ages seven to ten.

Adult Reader Reaction: The story moves quickly, and the characters have enough depth for teens to say "that's me," or "that's just like so-and-so. The interplay among the girls is excellent. One of the characters is dealing with a dad who wants to date again. Something today's kids can relate to.

Pros: The story moves quickly, the author projects excellent imagery and its wholesome, fun reading.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: Buy. This is part of a nicely priced, fun mystery series. You'll want them all…just like you used to want Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys.
