Borrow or Buy: Buy. Especially for adolescent girls who are equestrians, or who have an interest in horses, or who just like stories about young girls. It would be a valuable and well used selection for the classroom, school, or public library.


Educational Themes: This work highlights the fun and excitement of horseback riding. It shows how lasting friendship is formed and nurtured. Along with the fun and adventure, the book emphasizes the time, effort, sacrifice and responsibility required of horse owners to keep their horses fit and healthy.
