Adult Reader Reaction: This is a sweet story. The illustrations are fun, but not overpowering. They are perfectly suited to helping new readers decode the text and read the book by themselves. Let's Dance, Grandma would make a lovely gift for a child or for a grandparent.

Pros: Grandmas and little dancers everywhere will enjoy this lovely story.

Cons: At the end, Lucy's grandmother swings her about. For kids who take stories literally, this may be too much for grandma.

Borrow or Buy: Buy. This is a sweet selection to read before bed. It would make a nice gift for a new grandparent.
