Young Reader Reaction: Our preschooler, who is afraid of squirrels, was intrigued by Mr. George's friendliness and kindness and enjoyed talking about animals you see in the park.

Adult Reader Reaction: This was a very beautifully illustrated and lovely story.

Pros: This book offers a nice way to explore giving with young children.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: This one could go either way…but definitely read it. It is a book that could be a favorite because the illustrations are so vivid.
