Young Reader Reaction: Toddler immediately went for the movable characters. With assistance, s/he moved them back and forth and had a great time pointing to other illustrations and reciting the nursery rhyme.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a fun book for playtime that provides an interactive reading experience for the toddler.

Pros: This book was chosen to introduce pop-up books because it seemed more sturdy than many we'd seen. The rhymes are fun and the pictures amusing.

Cons: While the movable parts are more sturdy, toddler managed to pull the first one off the first time s/he reached for it. So be careful.

Borrow or Buy: Buy. This book would be torn up if obtained from the library. Additionally, its just a fun, interactive book to keep in your child's library.
