Young Reader Reaction: While our preschooler enjoyed the story, s/he didn't understand how the tale related to the modern situation.

Adult Reader Reaction: I found the Bible story to be oversimplified. Still, it was a good introduction to Bible stories (and lessons) for our preschooler.

Pros: This is another great book in a larger book series that introduces young children to Bible stories using simple writing.

Cons: The book may be great for the young part of the target audience. Parents may want a more sophisticated versions for 8 year olds.
