Young Reader Reaction: This story was accompanied by simple illustrations that conveyed emotion a toddler relates to--especially the pictures of baby Jesus and his Mommy and Daddy and all the places they traveled.
Adult Reader Reaction: This was a nice story book of the Christmas story. Some of it required some supplemental explanation, but overall it is a book that will be a classic at the Christmas season.
Pros: A simple, yet engaging version of the Christmas story.
Cons: In the author's efforts to simplify the story, it can get a bit confusing (e.g. its not clear that the angel told Mary that she would have a child And that Mary had a choice.)
Borrow or Buy: Buy, this is a good way to convey the Christmas story to babies and toddlers
Educational Themes: It explains how Christmas came to be, in its true form.
