“A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.”
Summary: A hippopotamus gets the hiccups and the hiccups are so loud and strong that they cause all kinds of problems for his friends. So his friends decide to try to help him get rid of the hiccups. Nothing seems to work but eventually he does pass them on to his friends! Lots of funny hiccuping and made-up rhymes fill the board book version of this children's book.
