Young Reader Reaction: S/He loved the snowman face on the moon … and ran to the window to find him outside. We have had several requests to read this book.

Adult Reader Reaction: This brings back memories of wishing for snow and no school! The illustrations are wonderful and the story is imaginative.

Pros: This is a fun book to share (and wish with) all winter. Everyone will enjoy it. The illustrations (painted on canvas) add texture to the story, just like snow.

Cons: None, really. There are a few pictures with evergreens that resemble Christmas trees. If you're looking for a Christmas book, this is bigger than that.
