Adult Reader Reaction: This is a wonderful rendition of this classic children's song. Learning (or remembering!) the verses is made easier with the pictures, but the CD travels in the car with us, too.
Pros: The bright colors and lyrical nature of the book make this a highly entertaining product.
Cons: Absolutely none.
Borrow or Buy: Buy! Spending a few minutes just looking at the bright illustrations will lift your day.
Educational Themes: The music makes it easy to introduce the natural features of the earth. It might be fun to let your kids add their own verses, too. The factual information in the back is concises, giving you a chance to put on your shoes and take the kids exploring in yo ur own back yard.
