This is an illustrated collection of short stories featuring creatures of all sorts.

Reading Level: 4.8
Young Reader Reaction: Review pending.
Adult Reader Reaction: These are wonderfully creative stories that beg to be read aloud. The author does a superb job setting the scene and helping you create that “movie in your mind.” I love that each short story stands on its own. Though they are much richer read together.
Pros: These wonderful stories are perfect for bedtime reading. Wild Stories is a great choice when you're ready to move to chapter books but your reader isn't quite ready for cliff-hanging chapters.
Borrow or Buy: Borrow. The stories make excellent choices for bedtime. A definite read aloud for the classroom.
