Young Reader Reaction: Our preschooler LOVED this book. It transitioned quickly from being a favorite read for Mom and Dad to read, to one s/he wants to "read" herself. All her bedroom friends have been introduced to the friends in the wood.

Adult Reader Reaction: The photography is stunning. After lots of readings you begin to realize how many "takes" the story must have gone through … making it worthwhile for the adults, too.

Pros: The story is simply presented and the authors often let the pictures speak for themselves.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: Buy! And buy Stranger in the Woods, too. This version offers great learning and enjoyment opportunities.
