Young Reader Reaction: Preschooler was enthralled with the illustrations and soothed by the story. At one reading, s/he immediately got up to try to draw the Man on the moon and the shoe-boat.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a lovely book, fun and soothing to read and the illustrations, done in blues and other soothing colors.

Pros: This book will be a classic book at bedtime, naptime and rest time. With the illustrations, the preschooler will soon know the poem by heart and be able to tell the story to parents, friends or dolls.
