Summary: Jason loves sports. He plays baseball in the spring and summer, and REALLY wants to play football in the fall. Type of Reading: family reading, independent reading

Recommended Age: read together: 7 to 12; read yourself: 9 to 12

Interest Level: 7 to 10

Age of Child: Teen STAR Review Team, Be the Star You Are!™

Young Reader Reaction: Teen Review pending

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a fast read, and you'll want to read it when your kids are done. The medical information if valuable to have, especially if you have a child with Asthma, not to mention a future Cy Young or Heisman Winner in your family.

Pros: The story moves quickly, almost too quickly to get the author's goal of teaching that you should never give up.

Cons: We'd like to hear the story from Jason's perspective. The emotions would be more visible and would resonate with kids. It would also be nice to learn more about asthma inhalers and Adrenal Insufficiency

Borrow or Buy: Borrow. It seems pricey for the content.
