Author Showcase

Vicki Ebeling drew on her experiences as a mom and counselor to create her first novel The Winner's Group. As an educational therapist working with students of all ages, she understands their needs and hopes, not only as individuals, but also as struggling readers.

Vicki created this contemporary adventure series as a way of reaching out and paying tribute to kids with talents to share, but who don't always recognize their special qualities. She purposefully wrote the book to be a high interest/low readability book, accessible to reluctant readers.

For more than 15 years, Dr. Ebeling has offered mental health services for individuals, couples, families, adults and children. Her specialty is educational therapy, which includes ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and related issues. In 2002, Vicki wrote Educating America in the 21st Century, a resource for helping students with learning challenges. You can read an excerpt from Vicki's book, originally published in Creations Magazine.

Vicki Ebeling, Ph.D., is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified Educational Therapist. She is a certified Parent Effectiveness Training instructor, certified Youth Effectiveness Training instructor, and certified in child maltreatment issues. She has worked with reluctant readers and excellent readers of all ages.

Vicki lives in California with her son Drew Ebeling Marchese.
