Meet Kathleen Cherry

As a school counselor, Kathleen Cherry deals with "hard" stuff everyday. It seems only natural that her first book tackles a tough subject for kids, too. In her debut title, Kathleen has created a family story centered around an aging father / grandfather.

Kathleen has written a number of stories that have received recognition. Her work has been featured in Northword, Highlights for Children, Woman, and Island Parent.

Kathleen's memberships include the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators; Writers Union of Canada; CANSCAIP - Canadian Society of Children's Authors Illustrators and Performers; British Columbia Teachers Federation, and Romance Writers Association.

Connect with Kathleen on Goodreads.

Kathleen lives with her husband and two children in British Columbia where she works as a school counselor. When she's not writing, you're likely going to find her studying for her PhD, running, hiking, or reading.
