Pros: Everyone can enjoy this story about sharing, friendship, and feelings. Simple illustrations and basic, repetitive text make this a perfect book for emerging readers.

Borrow or Buy: Buy. The Elephant & Piggie series are books that are wonderful for toddlers who are learning about life, and they'll still be a favorite when they can read it themselves.
