Little Kid Reaction: My daughter liked the pictures and enjoyed hearing about the many different kinds of dolphins and where they are found. She said she wanted to really see each kind in person one day.
Big Kid Reaction: I liked this book, too. You really get an understanding of dolphins and it was enjoyable to read. I was surprised she liked it but was happy that she did and then wanted to learn even more by going and seeing them in person sometime.
Pros: Great photography, easy to understand information and lots of facts make this an engaging nonfiction picture book for young learners.
Cons: None.
Borrow or Buy: Borrow. This is an enjoyable book to share, but it is better for the school or community library ... unless your child is a dolphin fanatic!
