Did you know 90% of a child's brain
develops in the first five years of life?
Helping children to establish strong literacy reading skills early is important. It starts with reading!
The most influential people in the process of learning to read are parents.
The Reading Tub is developing an app for parents of struggling readers. Resources for establishing literacy - like articles, tips, and exercises - will be available immediately so that busy parents can access tools even on short breaks on the job.
We've learned that smart phone access is quickly surpassing broad band internet access even among those living near the poverty level. So we're quickly responding with program that supports that change.
The Reading Tub, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting family reading and literacy.
With your help, we can develop an app for parents who need support. Your contribution brings us closer to giving parents the tools they need AND improving the chances of success for more than 5,000 children each year!
We are staffed entirely by volunteers so that your 100% of your contributions support our literacy work.
