Become a Featured Author

Each year the Reading Tub™ showcases lots of new authors and authors with new books. Do you fit this bill?
To Become a Featured Author requires a minimum $150 contribution. We do a lot of work to promote you and, in return for this service, we ask that you support us. Your donation helps us help children learn to read. Remember: if they can't read, who will buy your book?

Author Showcase Packages

The Standard Author Showcase Package includes these features:
  • We create two pages on our Web site for you: a bio page that features you and includes images of your book covers; and a separate page with the interview.

  • We add your name - and links to our interview - on every page on the Reading Tub™ Web site. You are highlighted in our Current Feature list for 90 days, and then you are listed in our Showcase Archive.

  • We link your interview to our profile of your book. That link remains active forever.

  • We introduce you and your books to the world through The Wash Rag, our quarterly newsletter.

  • We create a dedicated post just for you on our blog.

  • We announce your interview on Twitter (twitter.com/readingtub) and on our Facebook Group Page

  • Upon request, we also provide a Press Release template you can use to publish a press release announcing your selection as a Featured Author.

A Premier Author Package requires a $300 donation. It includes all of the features above and covers licensing permission to use the interview in your promotional material beyond a Web Site/URL reference.

We can work with you on timing. If you have a book coming out in the spring, then we can arrange a feature around the time the book is released. Read our schedule to meet some of the authors who have already signed on.

Becoming a featured author is quite simple. If you have published a book for kids ages 0 to 13, then we'd love the chance to share YOUR story with our registered readers and Web site visitors. Just send us an E-mail with answers to the following questions.

Is your book in the Tub? We like to share the story-behind-the-story with our readers, so we want to make sure we've read your book and have a profile before we set up an interview. If your book isn't in the Tub™, we'll be happy to take the request. Keep reading …

Is your book available for free? The Reading Tub™ is a public charity. We do not purchase books for review. You must be willing to donate a copy to the Tub. Click here to learn how donating your book can help you.

Do you have a Web site? To be considered for the featured author program, you must have a Web site that readers can visit and you must agree to promote the Reading Tub™ on that site for at least six months. Please provide a link to your site in your Email.
