Each year the Reading Tub® showcases lots of new authors and authors with new books. Do you fit this bill?
Being part of our Author Showcase requires a $50 contribution.
Why should I pay for an interview?
We're glad you asked! 100% of your contribution goes to getting books to kids. Your interview is a PR opportunity - and a permanent one at that! You gain a lot from that kind of long-term, 24/7 accessible publicity. We think a donation is fair trade for the hours our volunteers donate. [average: 10 hours / interview]
Our volunteers willingly do all of the work to promote you. They do not personally benefit ... they want YOU to pay it forward by supporting our mission. We do a lot of work to promote you and, in return for this service, we ask that you support us. Your donation helps us help children learn to read. If they can't read, who will buy your book.
Donate $100 and also get a 30-day banner ad on our blog (a $30 value)!

Author Showcase Packages
The
Standard Author Showcase Package includes these features:
- We create two pages on our Web site for you: a bio page that features you and includes images of your book covers; and a separate page with the interview.
- We add your name - and links to our interview - on every page on the Reading Tub™ Web site. You are highlighted in our Current Feature list for 90 days, and then you are listed in our Showcase Archive.
- We link your interview to our profile of your book. That link remains active forever.
- We introduce you and your books to the world through The Wash Rag, our newsletter service. Your interview is sent to your target audience (e.g., 0 to 4, 5 to 8, etc.).
- We create a dedicated post just for you on our blog.
- We announce your interview on Twitter (twitter.com/readingtub); our Facebook Page; our Reading Tub Group on Facebook; and via LinkedIn.
- Upon request, we also provide a Press Release template you can use to publish a press release announcing your selection as a Featured Author.
A
Premier Author Package requires a $150 donation. It includes all of the features above and covers licensing permission to use the interview in your promotional material beyond a Web Site/URL reference.
Timing the interview is up to you. For example, if you have a book coming out in the spring, then we can arrange a feature around the time the book is released. Looking to rebuild buzz for a seasonal title? Let us know and we'll fit you in.
Becoming a featured author is quite simple. If you have published a book for kids ages 0 to 13, then we'd love the chance to share YOUR story with our registered readers and Web site visitors. Just send us an E-mail. We'll pencil you in, and when we receive your donation, we'll get your name up here on our board!
If you need help deciding if we're the right fit for you, you can ponder these questions:
Will you donate your book? We do not purchase books for review, and we can't give you a very good interview without reading the book! You must be willing to donate a copy to the Tub. Click here to learn how donating your book can help you.
Do you have a blog or website?
To be considered for our showcase you must have an online presence. Please provide a link to your site in your Email.
Are you a Registered Reader? After you Email us, please take a moment to subscribe to the Reading Tub® blog.
