Young Reader Reaction: Preschooler loved the hide and seek game (a current hit at home) and noticed the size of Dawdle Duckling's friends as well as the repetitive counting. It all became a game of reading.

Adult Reader Reaction: This book encouraged this parent to get up and play hide and seek with the preschooler. Dawdle Duckling just lifts the spirits.

Pros: This book will grow with the preschooler as s/he learns to read.

Borrow or Buy: Buy this book, along with the first, Dawdle Duckling because they are fun to read, fun to look at and brighten any afternoon.
