Summary: If there is one holiday not to be missed, it's Halloween. At least that's the way Nick, Carter, and Angelo look at it. It's monster season! This year, though, things are downright creepy. Not long after Nick returns from his aunt's funeral with an amulet, it's clear that something is different. Nick is different. Thanks to that "charm," he's turning into a zombie! Young Reader Reaction: It has monsters and boys, and it is funny. That was all my daughter needed, apparently. She liked the book and read about half, jumped to the last chapter to confirm her suspicions, then put it back on the shelf.

Adult Reader Reaction: Review pending.

Pros: Over-the-top zombie-ness keep kids glued to this middle grade adventure.

Cons: There is a lot of over-the-top grossness (as you might expect in a zombie book).
