This beloved bestseller tells the tale of a very hungry caterpillar who eats his way through an entire list of things such as apples and pears , soup crackers, salami, grapefruit juice (carrot orange squash) and even more before ending up inside a cocoon where he transforms into a butterfly or “beautiful creature”. This title teaches children about counting 1-10 while demonstrating that sometimes living things eat each other to survive.

The Very Lonely Firefly

An extremely lovable book about a firefly who shines his lights in the night but is all alone. Not many people see him including some other insects, animals and even plants (which says something) .
